Diane Davison

BA Spanish – University of Oklahoma
MA French Literature – Colorado State University

Diane grew up in Oklahoma, but has lived in Denver for most of her life. She taught in both DPS and Cherry Creek School districts for over 30 years. Originally a French teacher in the IB program at George Washington HS, Diane later helped found the IB program at Cherokee Trail HS. In 2003, she became the CTHS IB Coordinator as well as the head of the language program. Along with teaching students, Diane has taught and mentored many teachers during her career. Diane believes everyone should learn a language other his own native language; it is important in understanding other cultures and societies in the world. She loves to see those “aha” moments on the faces of students and is thankful to have had such wonderful teaching experiences over the years.
