When we considered the idea of offering online tutoring we were excited because of the amazing convenience it offers our students and parents; however, we were also skeptical as to whether or not it would be effective. During instruction, there is an enormous amount of non-verbal communication that goes on between the teacher and student that is absolutely integral to the learning process. We weren’t going to provide online instruction unless we were confident that the student and teacher could communicate clearly and effectively.

The result is the only online tutoring service that utilizes LIVE AUDIO AND VIDEO along with an INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD on which both student and teacher can write/draw, screen sharing, web access, and more.

When you participate in online tutoring through PLS, you meet with the same amazing teachers you normally would in person, but online. You can talk to one another, see one another, share the online whiteboard, and more. All from the convenience of your home!
